A new piece of jewellery goes through a number of different stages in the manufacturing process – a bespoke order will usually take 4-6 weeks. Please let us know during your initial consultation if you have a specific deadline.
Visuals of other designs can help us understand your requirements and preferred style, so you are welcome to show them to us, however we do not copy other designs – our styles are unique to us!
The cost depends on the metals, gemstones and time involved. We create bespoke pieces to meet a wide range of budgets. Silver items start from £300, gold items £600 and platinum £600 upwards. For redesigns we won’t dismantle any of your items until your chosen design and estimated cost have been approved.
No, your old piece can be given a completely new lease of life! We can remove the original stones and melt the metal into a brand new shape. A redesign is limited only to the cut and size of the original stones.
Yes, if you have a specific budget in mind, please let us know so we can show you materials and stones to suit your budget. If the design is changed several times over a number of consultations we will always keep you updated about any change in the cost.
No, a larger diamond or coloured stone can be incorporated in the new piece to really make it pop! Our expert designers will advise on the best new design to compliment your original stones.
Yes, we have many years of experience in interpreting our client’s ideas – you can relax and leave the hand drawn sketches to us! We’ll discuss your ideas with you to create individual designs, your input will be taken into account throughout the process and we have a wealth of design ideas and styles on hand to help. We’ll give you an estimated cost for the design and any expert recommendations that will help bring your design to life.
We will recast any carat of yellow or rose gold. Unfortunately, silver, white gold and platinum cannot always be re-cast, but we will deduct the scrap value for any unused metal from the cost. The most successful casts are from solid pieces and rings. Chains and bracelets with multi links can bring too many impurities which can result in a poor cast and surface finish, but we can advise on alternatives.
